Christine Stump, CPA

Christine M. Stump, CPA has been an accounting and tax professional for over 13 years working primarily with small and medium sized businesses. Upon graduation from college, she worked as an accountant/auditor with a regional CPA firm. After becoming a certified public accountant, she honed her knowledge and understanding of the accounting process by providing tax, bookkeeping, compilation and review services. These services were provided for many different types of businesses including construction companies, physicians, lawyers, insurance, automobile dealers, wholesale and retail distributors and more. Christine has also been an owner of a small restaurant where she maintained the books, handled payroll and dealt with all the day-to-day processes of a small business.

Christine has assisted clients in setting up their own businesses including their accounting system using QuickBooks and Peachtree accounting software. Christine is in the QuickBooks Pro-advisor program and has helped a number of companies set up their QuickBooks accounting system and trained them how to use it to effectively manage their business.

Having prepared tax returns for more than 13 years, Christine has a vast understanding of the income tax code and knows how to navigate through its complexities. She has prepared complicated consolidated corporate income tax returns as well as returns for subchapter S corporations, limited liability companies (LLCs), and partnerships. She has prepared complex individual returns to the simplest individual income tax return. Other tax preparation experience includes returns for estates, trusts, non-profits and qualified plans. Christine has also successfully represented clients through the IRS tax examination process.
